pork + pork = yum

so a while back I decided that whenever I was cooking pork as a main course, a side dish must also feature some sort of pork. (I’m such a good jew) so this weekend, I made Dr Pepper Pork Tenderloin (marinade pork tenderloin in 4 parts Dr Pepper/1 part soy sauce + salt, and peppercorns, grill tenderloin, boil and reduce marinade to make “gravy” ) and cheese grits with scallions and bacon (yummy thick bacon)

I didn’t think it could get any better, but after returning the sliced leftovers to the gravy and leaving them for another day, shoving the container with the gravy/pork in the microwave for a few minutes, and whooo lawdy lawdy, that’s some 3 napkin pork!
