the shit factory

well, someone found my space invaders mobile on etsy and liked it enough to blog about it! let’s hope that someone who reads that blog likes it enough to buy it now.

also, the first automata (maybe last? see below) show was last night at the note. it went quite well. we won’t be playing alpine valley anytime soon, but we didn’t scare anyone away either…

the general consensus about automata is that people don’t get the name… so we’re trying to come up with a new name. a free pixelparty gift will go to anyone who comes up with our new name. the name needs to be short, available on myspace, not the name of a signed band or a working band in chicago, and preferably something geeky… any takers?

UPDATE: the fine folks at geek alerts picked up the first link and posted with more pictures. someone’s just gotta buy something. the pinky ring ain’t gonna give itself away…

well, it’s been 4 months, and I’m another year older… wow. i’m too busy to blog, but i have stuff, so i’ll put it here. maybe I’ll talk about the stuff more? maybe not. nobody’s reading this anyway, so who cares, right?

1. the band i play bass in, Automata is playing at the note on august 26th. that’s in like 2 weeks. fuck.

2. i was jealous of shana, so I opened my own etsy shop. it’s pretty empty right now, but boy you wait til the tv season starts. it’ll be chock full of stuff.

3. i spent my birthday weekend at lollapalooza. it’s no bonnaroo, but they do have a better fountain. I no longer want to be a rock star, I want to be daft punk. their pyramid is too bitchin!
